Digital Marketing Specialist

Flexible Plan Investments is a nationally recognized investment manager with more than 45 years of innovation in risk-managed investing. We help financial advisers navigate changing markets through actively managed investment strategies and technology-driven solutions.

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist who can own our digital marketing initiatives, expand our online presence, and lead growth across paid, organic, web, and social channels.

This is a hybrid position based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Long Lake & Telegraph). Candidates must be able to work in the office several days each week. Relocation assistance not available.

 

What You’ll Do:

Digital Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, website traffic, adviser engagement, and qualified lead generation.
  • Lead both paid and organic content strategies across multiple digital channels.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth through data analysis, competitive research, and emerging marketing technologies.

Paid Media

  • Plan, launch, optimize, and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and programmatic advertising networks.
  •  Develop audience targeting strategies using display, native, video, retargeting, CTV, geofencing, and other digital ad formats.
  • Monitor campaign performance and continually optimize budgets, creative, and audience segmentation to maximize ROI.

Organic Marketing & Social Media

  • Own and grow the company’s LinkedIn presence through strategic content planning, publishing, employee advocacy, and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop monthly content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, webinars, and industry trends.
  • Execute strategies that increase followers, engagement, website traffic, and overall online visibility.

Website Optimization & Search

  • Lead ongoing website optimization initiatives focused on improving user experience, lead generation, and search visibility.
  •  Implement and maintain technical SEO, on-page SEO, schema markup, metadata, page speed improvements, internal linking, and content optimization.
  • Develop strategies for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to improve visibility across AI-powered search experiences.
  • Partner with developers to identify and resolve technical website issues while improving overall site performance.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own marketing analytics and performance reporting using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, LinkedIn Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Create executive dashboards and deliver monthly (MoM), quarterly, and campaign performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze website behavior, conversion paths, attribution, and campaign effectiveness to guide future marketing strategy.

Creative & Campaign Leadership

  • Use campaign data and customer insights to guide creative direction, messaging, and campaign optimization.
  • Partner with designers, copywriters, sales, and product teams to develop high-performing marketing assets.
  • Lead A/B testing initiatives across ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and website experiences to continuously improve performance.

Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, compliance, and leadership to execute integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, financial services marketing regulations, AI search, and emerging advertising platforms.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within financial services, FinTech, or B2B industries.
  • Proven experience developing and executing both paid and organic digital marketing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and programmatic advertising platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising formats including search, display, native, video, retargeting, CTV, and geofencing.
  • Experience managing and growing corporate LinkedIn pages and executing social media content strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, website optimization, AEO, and GEO best practices.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and marketing automation platforms such as Act-On or HubSpot.
  • Ability to transform marketing data into strategic recommendations and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience leading creative decisions based on campaign performance and audience insights.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing within financial services or investment management.
  • Google Ads, GA4, LinkedIn Marketing, or Meta certifications.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO), heat mapping, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools and emerging search technologies.
