Wealth Management Internship- Spring 2027
Rotational internship program with the Lighthouse Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley, in person, in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Starting January 2027.
- All hours are required to be completed, in the office- no remote work.
- Pay is $20/ hour
- 10 hours a week minimum- 20 hours a week maximum. Schedule is flexible and will be determined after the candidate is selected to accommodate their academic schedule.
- 15 week rotational program. Intern will spend 4 weeks in each rotation:
- Financial Advisor
- Analyst
- Client Service Associate
- The final weeks will be spent working on a “capstone” project, which will be presented to the team.
The program is meant to be a “try-out” for a full time role as either an analyst or a client service associate. Looking for a spring intern who is graduating and looking to start a full time position in the Summer of 2027.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
Education and/or Experience
• Successful completion of the SIE exam before 01/2027
• On track to complete a Four-year college degree no later than 06/2027
• Previous wealth management, banking, or finance internship experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills
• Knowledge of financial services products, including but not limited to equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts
• Technically proficient and quick learner of new and updated platforms
• Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Expert knowledge of basic personal computer, MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and internet applications
• Exceptional writing, interpersonal and client service skills
• Strong time management skills
• Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Adaptable and ability to multi-task
• Goal oriented, self-motivated and results driven

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $68,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
