Lab Technician

Title: Lab Technician 

Contract: 1 Year

Location: Cincinnati, OH - 45237 

Day shift:  6am start Mon - Fri

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician with exceptional work behaviors to join our team at the company. in Cincinnati. The QC Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting routine laboratory testing to facilitate the release of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples. The QC Lab Technician conducts all work in accordance with approved procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and applicable regulatory requirements while ensuring data integrity and laboratory compliance. Job Responsibilities

• Prepares solutions for chemical & physical testing on raw materials, in-process, finished product, and stability samples to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
• Accurately document laboratory activities, test results, and observations in laboratory notebooks
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including balances, pH meters, and other analytical equipment as applicable
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in accordance with GMP requirements
• Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies, chemicals, standards, and reagents
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental requirements, and company policies
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections as needed
• Performs all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines

 

Education & Qualifications

Requirements:
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• 0-1 year of laboratory experience good to have
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform flawless work
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong motivation to excel and a desire for continuous growth
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing laboratory work.
• Ability to lift and carry laboratory supplies up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
