Project Engineer
Working alongside our Project Managers, you'll gain experience in every phase of a structural steel project.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Project Managers with active construction projects
- Coordinate project documentation and submittals
- Track RFIs, change orders, and shop drawing approvals
- Help maintain project schedules and milestone tracking
- Attend project meetings and take meeting notes
- Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and field teams
- Organize project files and contract documents
- Monitor material procurement and fabrication schedules
- Assist with project budgeting and cost tracking
- Help prepare closeout documentation
- Visit fabrication shops and construction sites as needed
- Learn how structural steel projects move from estimating to fabrication to installation
