Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Account Manager/Broker role based in Dallas, TX. The Sales Account Manager/Broker will build and manage a portfolio of shipper accounts, focusing on acquiring new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and driving profitable growth. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, qualifying opportunities, and preparing and presenting competitive logistics solutions. The role involves coordinating with carriers, negotiating rates, and monitoring shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery and high customer satisfaction. The Sales Account Manager/Broker will also resolve service issues, maintain accurate CRM and TMS records, analyze account performance, and collaborate with internal teams to improve service and profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship skills, including Account Management and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on long-term partnerships and retention.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, including responsiveness, issue resolution, and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
- Demonstrated Lead Generation experience, including prospecting, cold outreach, and pipeline development in a sales environment.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present solutions, negotiate effectively, and collaborate across teams.
- Relevant experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation/logistics sales preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and transportation management systems (TMS) is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
