Benefits & Wellbeing Temp
The Benefits & Wellbeing Temp will support the Total Rewards team in delivering a best-in-class employee experience through benefits administration, wellbeing initiatives, recognition programs, and strategic communications. This position offers hands-on exposure to corporate benefits, leave of absence processes, employee engagement strategies, and HR operations, with a focus on communications, marketing, and compliance support.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications & Marketing
Assist in the development of clear, engaging communications related to benefits, wellbeing, and Total Rewards programs.
Support creation of materials such as emails, newsletters, intranet content, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure messaging is consistent, employee-friendly, and aligned with company branding.
Help maintain and update internal Total Rewards resources (e.g., portals, guides, FAQs).
Project & Operational Support
Provide general support for Total Rewards projects.
Assist in organizing project timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with internal stakeholders as assigned.
Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in benefits and employee wellbeing.
Wellbeing Programs
Support the planning, coordination, and promotion of employee wellbeing initiatives (e.g., mental health awareness, fitness challenges, financial wellbeing campaigns).
Assist with administration and promotion of employee recognition programs, including tracking participation, preparing communications, and supporting program enhancements.
Help track engagement metrics and participation data for both wellbeing and recognition initiatives.
Provide administrative support for events, webinars, and vendor partnerships.
Benefits Administration, Leave of Absence & Audits
Assist with routine benefits audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance (e.g., eligibility, enrollments, dependent verification).
Support reconciliation of vendor reports and internal Workday data.
Help identify discrepancies and escalate issues for resolution.
Provide administrative support for Leave of Absence (LOA) processes, including tracking requests, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Maintain organized documentation of audit processes, LOA cases (as appropriate), and findings while ensuring confidentiality.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interest in employee benefits, wellbeing, and Total Rewards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with data analysis or reporting (Excel skills a plus).
Interest in HR communications, marketing, or employee engagement.
Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday) is a plus but not required.
Experience using Canva or similar design tools to create visually engaging communications and marketing materials.
