Salary: $73,122 – $134,165/year (AD-05 to AD-07) | Full-Time | Permanent | Secret Clearance Required
About the Role:
The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) is seeking motivated and qualified Police Officers to protect the Pentagon Reservation and its occupants. As a PFPA Police Officer, you will enforce federal laws and regulations, patrol designated areas, control access to secured facilities, and respond to emergencies. This is a permanent, full-time federal law enforcement position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and protect the Pentagon Reservation and surrounding areas
- Enforce federal laws, regulations, and security policies
- Control access to secured and restricted facilities
- Investigate criminal acts, gather evidence, and respond to emergency calls
- Prepare incident reports and maintain detailed records
- Interact professionally with DoD personnel, visitors, and the public
Qualifications – You May Qualify Through EXPERIENCE:
- AD-05: Experience in law enforcement, security, loss prevention, military police, or protecting life and property
- AD-06: Experience enforcing law and order, patrolling designated areas, and controlling access to secured facilities
- AD-07: Experience preventing/detecting/investigating criminal acts, gathering evidence, and responding to emergency calls
Qualifications – You May Qualify Through EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Police Science, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Forensic Science, Corrections, Juvenile Justice, Criminal Law, Criminal Psychology, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Forensic Accounting, Community Policing, Security and Policy Administration, or a combination of education and experience.
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship required
- Secret Security Clearance required
- Must pass physical fitness and medical standards
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
