Title: Safety Professional
Location: Milan, IL 61264
Duration: 1 Year (Possible Extension)
Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Must Have
- Manufacturing or warehouse safety experience
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
- Experience conducting safety training
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience
- Safety recordkeeping and compliance knowledge
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Safety Degree or strong EHS/Safety background
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety observations and hazard assessments on the shop floor
- Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses
- Perform safety audits and risk assessments
- Develop and deliver safety training programs
- Maintain OSHA and EHS compliance documentation
- Track, analyze, and report safety metrics
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Review equipment, processes, and facilities for safety risks
- Support continuous improvement of safety programs
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- Occupational Safety certifications
- Ergonomic assessment experience
- Manufacturing or distribution center safety experience
