If you’re a business-savvy graduate and looking for an opportunity to get into the Corporate and Business consulting industry you could put your skills to use as a Business Development Associate with United AMG Partners. 
 

To help support us in becoming the premier employee benefits consulting firm in the country, you will serve alongside in-house experts in an energetic environment. To best serve our customers, we ensure that each entry-level consultant receives detailed and rigorous training in marketing, sales and consulting, which is primarily delivered through our unique mentorship program. You’ll have the professional opportunity to partner with existing team members to learn firsthand the ins and outs of business development in relation to Group Healthcare and Business Insurance lines of coverage.. 
 

As a Business Development Associate, you'll learn to market and deliver strategies that help business owners contain their rising healthcare and business insurance costs. Some of your main responsibilities will include (1) mastering B2B marketing and communication; (2) presenting cost savings strategies to prospecting clients and (3) establishing partnerships that increase United AMG’s profitability. Best of all, you will be directly in control of your success, since our hardest-working consultants have shown that residual income can be generated in just a few months following high-quality and consistent work. 

 

You’ll also work closely with the United AMG senior staff to help mitigate the company's services and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field. After undergoing invaluable mentorship training, each of these tasks will be a permanent part of your repertoire. Learning to prepare and deliver presentations related to business development will also become second nature in our fast-paced environment. We strive to create working conditions equally as satisfactory to the assistance we provide clients, so you’ll never be micromanaged or interacted with in a way that impedes your personal, creative approach to tackling your daily duties.

What you’ll do
 

  • Serve as a key member of the United AMG Partners Business Development team to help drive overall market strategy
  • Set a strategic business development for yourself and plan for target markets and ensure it's in line with the overall United AMG strategic direction
  • Execute United AMG’s top partnership opportunities while working with key executives
  • Market United AMG’ services and strategies to small and mid-size Businesses
  • Observe and Learn how to do Consulting Presentations to Prospect Clients 
  • Handle a high volume of engagements and client management tasks simultaneously
  • Maintain current knowledge of company rules, insurance industry laws and regulations, and legal requirements

 

What you’ll need:
 

  • Extensive knowledge working within a team environment, as both a leader and a follower
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills; business-related communications are required
  • Ability to think and plan strategically, often on insurance plans on statistical data
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Business-level or higher communication skills are required
  • Flexibility and the willingness to collaborate with other specialists or consultants to deliver satisfactory results 
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Bachelor’s degree/Certifications required
  • Physical demands include the ability to sit, stand, use hands to operate computers or office equipment, and communicate verbally
