Marketing Intern

The trade association representing Iowa's biodiesel and ethanol producers has an opening for a part-time marketing intern to assist with development and management of social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. This position would initiate and manage social media content for our DriveCleanIowa campaign, which encourages young drivers to use Unleaded 88 when filling up their cars.

This position will also assist with industry research and statistics, graphics creation, and engagement in other key projects. Applicants should possess strong creativity and social media skills. In addition, the intern will assist with all association activities, promotions, and other duties.

This position would begin as early as August 24, 2026 and run through December 2026. There is the possibility to extend through May of 2027 in a part time capacity. The internship will provide the successful applicant with an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced work environment, be responsible for building and maintaining a social media campaign, and to make connections through the Iowa agriculture and biofuels space.

Qualifications: A strong interest in renewable fuels is a plus but not a requirement. Potential interested majors: Ag Studies, Communications, Marketing, Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies & Political Science

Hourly Wage: $15/hr

The position is based out of West Des Moines office.
