We're a Philadelphia-based paper and nonwoven products manufacturer looking for a sharp, organized Logistics Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This role sits at the intersection of supply chain, customer service, and operations. You'll own order processing, freight coordination, shipping documentation, and day-to-day administrative functions that keep our business running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Process customer orders and coordinate with production for on-time fulfillment
- Schedule domestic shipments and negotiate freight rates
- Prepare and review shipping documents, Bills of Lading, POs, and invoices
- Track shipments and resolve transportation or delivery issues
- Handle customer inquiries and provide shipment updates
- Coordinate inventory movements and receiving documentation
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems
- Monitor production schedules and shipment readiness
- Help identify and implement logistics process improvements
What We're Looking For
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service instincts and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook especially)
- Familiarity with domestic logistics documentation
- Manufacturing experience a plus
