Recruitment Intern - Business Development
Accelerate Talent & Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Recruitment Intern – Business Development to support employer identification, cold calling, and outreach efforts that help Accelerate become an approved external search partner or get added to employer vendor lists. This role is ideal for students, career changers, or early‑career professionals interested in gaining experience in business development, sales outreach, recruiting operations, or HR research.
Role Overview
The Recruitment Intern – Business Development will research employers, identify decision makers, make outbound calls, gather vendor approval information, prepare first touch outreach drafts, and maintain accurate tracking of outreach activity. This is a commission-only role with flexible hours and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Research employers by industry, region, company size, and hiring trends
- Identify HR leaders, Talent Acquisition managers, department heads, and vendor management contacts
- Make introductory outreach calls to employers using approved scripts
- Ask employers about their process for approving external search partners
- Identify the correct contact for vendor list approval
- Conduct follow-up calls to confirm vendor contacts or gather additional information
- Prepare first touch outreach drafts using approved Accelerate templates
- Maintain an individual tracking sheet with employer names, outreach dates, follow up needs, and status updates
- Participate in weekly check ins
- Complete follow up tasks assigned by Accelerate leadership
- Maintain confidentiality of all employer information, templates, and internal processes
Cold Calling Requirements
- Comfort making outbound calls to employers using approved scripts
- Ability to ask about vendor approval processes
- Confidence initiating conversations with HR leaders and hiring managers
- Willingness to conduct follow up calls to confirm vendor contacts
- Interest in sales or client‑facing communication
- Prior cold calling or sales outreach experience is preferred but not required
