River Street Sweets is growing our team on King Street in Charleston! We’re looking for a General Manager who is excited to lead a team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and run a high-energy retail business.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on leadership experience, ownership of store performance, and a clear path for growth.

🚀 What You’ll Do

You will run the day-to-day operations of the store and lead a team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop team members and shift leads
• Provide regular feedback and create a positive, high-performing culture
• Run daily huddles and align the team on goals and priorities

Operations & Business Performance

• Manage store operations to meet sales, labor, and efficiency targets
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve results
• Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met

Guest Experience

• Create a fun, welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations
• Train the team on service standards and customer engagement
• Actively gather and act on customer feedback

Store Ownership

• Manage inventory, product quality, and merchandising
• Operate and troubleshoot the POS system (Toast)
• Step in to support the team during peak periods as needed

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 0–3 years of leadership, retail, or restaurant experience (college leadership counts!)
• Strong communication and people leadership skills
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to take initiative
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary + monthly bonus opportunity ($200)
