Assistant Marketing Manager
Assistant Marketing Manager — Lumberjack Harley-Davidson
Nacogdoches, TX | Full-Time | On-Site | Starting at $35,000/year
About the Role:
Lumberjack Harley-Davidson is looking for a driven, creative, and community-minded Assistant Marketing Manager to join our team in Nacogdoches, TX. This is a full-time, on-site position built for someone who is ready to own their craft from Day 1 — not observe it from the sidelines. You'll work directly alongside our Marketing Manager to plan, execute, and manage all marketing initiatives for one of East Texas's most recognized lifestyle brands. From social media content and event execution to campaign management and community engagement, this role is as dynamic as the brand behind it. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging marketing professional who is already rooted in the Nacogdoches community and is ready to grow into a department leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish platform-differentiated content across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok on a consistent daily and weekly schedule
- Capture photo and video content at dealership events, Saturday activations, and community appearances
- Manage and execute the dealership's recurring Saturday event series — SaturDAZE @ the 'Jack — including setup, content coverage, and post-event recap
- Support the planning and promotion of 4–6 monthly events including coordination with vendors, sponsors, and community partners
- Assist in the execution of national Harley-Davidson marketing campaigns including sweepstakes, ride challenges, and seasonal promotions
- Coordinate with corporate graphic design, email marketing, and web platform partners to ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Maintain and update event listings across multiple platforms including Facebook, the dealership website, Visit Nacogdoches, the Chamber of Commerce, and H-D dealer network systems
- Monitor social media engagement, respond to community interactions, and help grow our online presence organically
- Represent Lumberjack Harley-Davidson at community events, festivals, and sponsorship activations with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Support the Marketing Manager in developing and documenting campaign strategy, content calendars, and brand initiatives
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for community, storytelling, and brand building — not just marketing as a function
- Strong working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok — both as a consumer and a content creator
- Comfort in front of and behind a camera — you should be able to shoot, edit, and publish short-form video content confidently
- Proficiency in Canva and at least one Adobe Creative Suite application (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Illustrator preferred)
- Excellent written communication skills — captions, event descriptions, and campaign copy should feel natural to you
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- A collaborative, team-first attitude that fits a fast-paced, personality-driven dealership environment
- Willingness to work Saturdays for events and community activations
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Digital Media, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Portfolio of published social media content, graphic design work, or marketing campaigns required for consideration
- Must be based in Nacogdoches or the surrounding area — this is a fully on-site position and relocation for the role is not supported
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
