Technical Sales Representative – Entry Level (Recent Graduates Encouraged to Apply)

We partner with many of the industry's most respected manufacturers to help customers identify, specify, and implement the right products and solutions for their applications.
We are seeking a motivated and personable recent college graduate who is eager to learn and build a rewarding career in technical sales. This is an outstanding opportunity to combine relationship-building, problem-solving, and technology in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers throughout Northern New Jersey. (Other areas are available)
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, distributors, and end users to understand their application requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Promote and support a broad range of electrical and automation products, including robotics, wire and cable solutions, motor control components, switches, circuit breakers, and related technologies.
- Help customers evaluate and specify products that best meet their technical and business needs.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within your assigned territory.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and internal team members to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
- Travel locally within the region to visit customers, conduct presentations, and attend industry events locally and globally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. (STEM/Engineering preferred, but NOT Required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn technical products and applications.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Willingness to travel locally up to 75% of the time.
Who Succeeds in This Role?
Some of our most successful employees have come from hospitality backgrounds, including restaurant and wait-service experience.
You do not need to be an expert in Industrial automation; you just need to have the willingness to learn and be trained to feel comfortable around your accounts.
For example, our best guy has a degree in philosophy and now is the expert in our industry.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $65,000 – $80,000 annually

Schedule: Monday through Friday
