Intake Specialist and Paralegal
We are looking for highly organized, detail-oriented individuals to support our legal team with client intake, case development, document review, and litigation preparation. This role is ideal for someone who is both client-focused and analytically strong, with the ability to gather detailed information, identify legally significant facts, and help transform client concerns into organized, attorney-ready case materials.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting intake calls with prospective clients, gathering and reviewing supporting documents, preparing factual summaries and timelines, assisting with legal drafting, and helping attorneys evaluate potential claims. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, confidentiality, empathy, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and accuracy.
We are seeking someone who can work in a fast-paced legal environment, maintain organized case files, follow up with clients, identify missing information, and assist with drafting complaints, demand letters, mediation briefs, factual allegations, damages summaries, and other litigation-related documents. The right candidate will be able to balance compassionate client communication with precise factual analysis and strong attention to detail.
JOB DUTIES:
- Conduct prospective-client intake and evaluate key facts for attorney review.
- Draft intake summaries, factual timelines, and case development notes.
- Review, organize, and summarize case documents, records, and evidence.
- Identify factual gaps, inconsistencies, missing documents, and follow-up needs.
- Maintain client communication throughout intake and case development.
- Assist with drafting complaints, demand letters, mediation briefs, damages summaries, and supporting factual allegations.
- Organize electronic case files and track deadlines, document requests, and client follow-ups.
- Support attorneys with case analysis, litigation preparation, and document review.
