LinkedIn Business Development & Marketing Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional LinkedIn Business Development & Marketing Intern to help build relationships with executives, business owners, CPAs, and attorneys throughout the Southeast.

This role focuses on LinkedIn prospecting, lead organization, CRM management, and marketing support. The intern will help identify qualified prospects, manage outreach workflows, maintain lead databases, and support relationship-building efforts.

10-15 hours per week

Remote or hybrid

Responsibilities

LinkedIn Prospecting

  • Run saved Sales Navigator searches
  • Review and qualify prospects
  • Save prospects to lead lists
  • Send approved connection requests
  • Track connection acceptance rates
  • Identify executives, business owners, CPAs, and attorneys

Lead Management

  • Collect and organize:
    • Name
    • Company
    • Job Title
    • LinkedIn URL
    • Prospect Segment
  • Import leads into WealthFeed
  • Maintain prospect databases
  • Update lead records

WealthFeed Management

  • Assign prospects to appropriate campaigns
  • Monitor message delivery
  • Track responses and engagement
  • Flag prospects requesting scorecards or meetings

Marketing Support

  • Assist with LinkedIn content posting
  • Monitor engagement
  • Research local networking opportunities
  • Maintain referral partner lists

Reporting

Provide a weekly report including:

  • New prospects identified
  • Connection requests sent
  • Connections accepted
  • Leads added to WealthFeed
  • Conversations started
  • Scorecard requests generated
  • Referral partner opportunities identified

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Professional online presence
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and CRM systems
  • Interest in business, finance, marketing, or sales

Success Metrics

The intern will be evaluated based on:

  • Qualified prospects added
  • Accuracy of lead records
  • Connection acceptance rates
  • WealthFeed database quality
  • Conversations generated
  • Consistency and reliability

Compensation

Hourly internship position
