Legal Receptionist (Bilingual Spanish/English)
About Us
We are a fast-paced family law and personal injury law firm seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Legal Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. This position is critical to ensuring exceptional client service and efficient communication throughout the firm.
The ideal candidate has prior experience answering phones in a law firm, can confidently manage a high volume of calls, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls professionally and courteously.
- Screen calls and direct clients to the appropriate department or team member.
- Take detailed and accurate messages and ensure timely delivery.
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Schedule consultations and appointments.
- Assist with client intake and basic administrative tasks.
- Monitor and respond to general office emails.
- Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Support attorneys, paralegals, and staff with administrative duties as needed.
- Keep reception and common areas organized and presentable.
Qualifications
Required:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Minimum 2 years of receptionist, intake, or front desk experience in a law firm.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable handling sensitive client matters with professionalism and empathy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with family law and/or personal injury cases.
- Experience using legal case management software.
- Prior client intake experience.
