The Office Assistant will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the sports association’s office. This role involves handling day-to-day administrative tasks, supporting staff, and assisting with events and programs related to the association’s sports activities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about sports and community engagement.
 

Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, responding or redirecting as appropriate.
Greet visitors and provide a welcoming and professional first impression of the association.
Maintain and organize physical and digital records, ensuring easy access and confidentiality.
Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and events for staff and committees.
Support the planning and execution of sports events, tournaments, and community programs.
Prepare reports, presentations, and basic documents as required by management.
Maintain office supplies and liaise with vendors for procurement and services.
Assist with membership management, registration processes, and communication with members.
Provide general support to staff and volunteers as needed.
 

Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in office administration is a plus.
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and office equipment.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Interest or experience in sports administration is highly desirable.
Professional, approachable, and team-oriented demeanor.
Work Environment:
Office-based with occasional travel to sports venues or events.
Collaborative team environment with interaction across various departments and volunteers.
