🍄 Creative Content Lead — The Microdose Movement
San Diego, CA (remote possible) | Full-time
The Movement. We're building the space between clinical science and sacred ceremony — a home for people who sense there's more to their mind than the loop they've been running. We talk about psilocybin, neuroplasticity, the default mode network, and what the ancients knew before the data caught up. No gurus. No hustle culture. No one performing enlightenment. Just humans holding space for other humans, walking each other home.
The role. You are the voice of the Movement. Your words will meet someone at 2am when the old story is loud and they need to remember they're not broken — they're patterned. Your carousels will interrupt the scroll and lead people to a quiz that tells them which of seven archetypes they are. Your emails will hold space for thousands of strangers who are just beginning to look at themselves with curiosity instead of judgment.
What you'll actually do:
- Write and produce social content that stops the scroll — carousels, hooks, short-form scripts, threads — for IG, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn. Each platformin its native voice
- Own the email nurture: take someone from "I took a quiz" to "I understand my patterns" to "I'm ready" over weeks of genuine, unhurried relationship
- Write GEO-optimized long-form for mcrdsemovement.com that ranks in AI search and reads like a human wrote it — because one did
- Hold the brand voice: anchored in neuroscience, reaching toward spirit, grounded in real human experience. Think integration coach meets psychonaut meets someone who actually answers their DMs
- Show up in the Telegram community — start conversations, witness what's arising, hold space without making it about you
- Adapt one insight across every surface: a research finding becomes a carousel becomes a thread becomes an email becomes a conversation starter
- Build the content systems and cadence so we're shipping consistently, not in creative bursts followed by silence
You'll thrive if:
- You can write sentences that feel like someone is sitting next to you, not selling to you. No corporate wellness. No "life-changing." No "vibrational frequency." Real words, real warmth, real edge
- You understand psychedelics, neuroscience, or contemplative practice — or you're genuinely called to learn
- You're as comfortable citing Imperial College research as you are writing about a quiet Tuesday where nothing happened except the loop didn't run
- You understand that holding space for people in transition is sacred work, and you take it seriously without taking yourself too seriously
- You know when to ship and when to polish. Content that seeks permission from a committee is dead on arrival
- You can hold two truths at once: this work changes lives, and it's also mushrooms in a capsule. Neither diminishes the other
The stack: GHL, Telegram, Zernio, Linear, AI content tools. You don't need to know them all — you need to be willing to learn.
To apply: Send us something you wrote that made someone feel seen. A post, an email, a thread, a note you left on a friend's desk. Anything that proves you can hold space with words.
