Creative Agency Operations & Client Services Intern
Role Title: Creative Agency Operations & Client Services Intern
Timing: Summer 2026
The Role
This role is designed for someone who wants to understand how a creative agency actually functions by being closely involved in both project coordination and agency operations. We want someone organized, reliable, and proactive to help keep things running smoothly—both in the office and behind the scenes.
As our Creative Agency Operations & Client Services Intern, you will support our core teams across client work, internal coordination, and everyday administrative execution. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for a detail-oriented creative problem solver who enjoys keeping things organized, managing shifting priorities, and helping a team run like clockwork.
Responsibilities
You’ll support the day-to-day execution that keeps both client work and internal operations running smoothly. This includes a mix of project coordination, administrative support, and operational problem-solving across the agency:
- Facilities Maintenance: Support daily office operations, including building coordination, shipping and receiving, and running general agency errands.
- Administrative Support: Manage team calendars, emails, and general administrative tasks to keep leadership aligned. Participate in team meetings to capture actionable notes and track follow-up items.
- Agency Finance Support: Assist with expense reports and finance processes, supporting monthly expense tracking and bookkeeping workflows.
- Digital Asset Organization: Maintain strong digital organization, including auditing Google Drive folder structures, formatting presentation decks, and updating project templates.
- Project Coordination: Support timeline coordination by tracking deliverables and milestones to help keep creative projects on schedule.
- Production Administrative Support: Assist with project auditing and resourcing, including reviewing budgets, production costs, and resourcing spreadsheets to support margin tracking and agency best practices.
- Research Assistance: Help with background research and presentation deck formatting to support marketing and client work.
-
Workflow Innovation: Use AI tools (like ChatGPT or Claude) to streamline research, documentation, and internal workflows. Identify and resolve small operational gaps to support a collaborative team environment.
What You Bring
- Professional Curiosity: Interest in marketing, branding, and how creative agencies operate behind the scenes.
- Tech Fluency: Comfort and proficiency with Google Workspace (specifically creating/editing Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides) and a curiosity about using AI tools to work more efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to figure things out independently.
- Reliability: Consistent in-office availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays and clear, professional communication.
- Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between spreadsheets, research, coordination, and hands-on administrative support as needed.
- Prior Experience: Prior working experience in a busy office setting or fast-paced environment is preferred.
