Westlake Pharmacy is a growing independent pharmacy focused on personalized patient care, high-quality compounded medications, and strong relationships with providers. We are looking for a motivated, professional, and relationship-driven Sales & Marketing Representative to help grow our pharmacy services and expand our presence with medical providers, clinics, and patients.

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Sales & Marketing Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, promoting Westlake Pharmacy’s compounded products and services, and helping develop new business opportunities. This position requires someone who is comfortable meeting with providers, learning our products in depth, communicating professionally, and consistently following up with offices.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, healthcare, relationship-building, and helping providers find solutions for their patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinic managers, and office staff
  • Promote Westlake Pharmacy’s compounded medications and pharmacy services
  • Learn Westlake’s products, pricing, processes, and compliance expectations
  • Identify new provider opportunities and help grow new business
  • Maintain relationships with current providers and support ongoing account growth
  • Visit provider offices regularly and professionally represent Westlake Pharmacy
  • Document provider interactions, follow-ups, opportunities, and outcomes in a CRM or tracking system
  • Coordinate with pharmacy leadership regarding provider needs, product questions, pricing, and service issues
  • Help create and support marketing efforts, including provider materials, patient education pieces, campaigns, and events
  • Attend conferences, vendor booths, provider lunches, or networking events as needed
  • Stay informed on pharmacy regulations, compounding guidelines, and company policies related to sales and marketing
  • Provide regular reports on outreach activity, provider feedback, new business opportunities, and sales progress

Qualifications

  • Sales, marketing, healthcare, pharmacy, or provider relationship experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Self-motivated and able to manage a schedule independently
  • Comfortable visiting medical offices and speaking with providers/staff
  • Organized and able to document activity clearly
  • Willingness to learn compounded medications, pharmacy services, and regulatory limitations
  • Ability to follow company policies and represent the pharmacy ethically and professionally

Preferred Experience

  • Pharmacy, medical sales, healthcare marketing, or provider outreach experience
  • Existing relationships with medical offices or healthcare providers
  • Experience using a CRM or sales tracking system
  • Understanding of compounded medications, hormone therapy, weight loss medications, dermatology, pain, wellness, or other pharmacy-related services

Compensation

  • Base salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Potential bonus or commission opportunities may be available based on performance, new business growth, and company goals
  • Travel and approved business expenses reimbursed according to company policy
