JOB SUMMARY

The Seasonal Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and hiring process for Seasonal Call Center Representatives. This role which is seasonal as well, plays a critical part in identifying qualified bilingual candidates who are fluent in Spanish and capable of assisting clients with benefits education, enrollment support, and benefit changes related to qualifying life events. The Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with internal leadership and recruiting teams to ensure hiring goals are met while maintaining a positive candidate experience and supporting organizational staffing objectives during peak enrollment periods.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and support recruiting activities for Seasonal Call Center Representative positions.
  • Screen candidates to evaluate qualifications, communication skills, and Spanish fluency (read, write, and speak). 
  • Schedule interviews, facilitate candidate communications, and maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records. 
  • Assist with onboarding activities, including pre-employment documentation, orientation scheduling, and new hire communications. 
  • Support recruiting efforts through job postings, job fairs, hiring events, and outreach initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiting teams to identify staffing needs and recruitment priorities. 
  • Ensure candidates possess the ability to explain client benefits information clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish. 
  • Verify candidates are capable of assisting customers with benefits enrollment during open enrollment periods and with benefit changes resulting from qualifying life events. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant and company information throughout the recruiting process. 
  • Provide timely follow-up and professional communication with candidates and internal stakeholders. 
  • Track recruiting metrics and assist with reporting related to hiring progress and staffing needs. 
  • Support seasonal workforce planning initiatives to ensure adequate staffing levels are achieved. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, hiring procedures, and applicable employment laws and regulations. 

 

NONESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with special projects and administrative support tasks as assigned. 
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives. 
  • Support employee engagement and retention activities as needed. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Fluency in Spanish and English, including the ability to read, write, and speak professionally in both languages. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and communication effectiveness. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. 
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, seasonal recruiting environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking or recruiting systems. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external candidates. 

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred. 
  • Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, call center, or administrative support experience preferred. 
  • Experience supporting high-volume or seasonal hiring initiatives preferred. 
  • Experience working in benefits enrollment, healthcare, insurance, or call center environments preferred. 
  • Knowledge of recruiting practices, onboarding procedures, and employment processes preferred. 

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must successfully demonstrate bilingual Spanish proficiency. 
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime during peak open enrollment periods if needed. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing staffing demands and business priorities. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company, client, and candidate information. 
  • Occasional travel may be required for recruiting events or training.
