Goal of the Overall VISTA Project: The Development, Data, and Community Engagement Coordinator VISTA will build the organization’s long-term capacity to support healthy futures by strengthening fundraising systems, data management processes, and community engagement infrastructure. While the VISTA will assist with fundraising activities connected to the organization’s 50th Anniversary, this work is intentionally designed to create sustainable systems—including documented procedures, reusable tools, and diversified donor strategies—that will continue to generate resources and community support well beyond the VISTA’s term of service that improve the clinic’s ability to raise funds, track and communicate impact, strengthen Objective of the Assignment Fund Development & SustainabilityCapacity Outcome: Improved organizational ability to generate sustainable financial resources independent of VISTA support. Member Activity (01/11/2026 - 02/06/2027): Develop and document standardized fundraising workflows, timelines, and templates that can be reused for future campaigns beyond the anniversary year.Create donor tracking and stewardship systems to support long-term relationship management and diversified funding streams.Assist in analyzing fundraising data to identify trends, opportunities, and strategies for future growth. Objective of the Assignment Data Collection, Data Management and Data UseCapacity Outcome: Increased ability of staff to use data to inform decision-making, demonstrate impact, and support funding efforts. Member Activity (01/11/2026 - 02/06/2027): Review and strengthen existing data collection methods related to programs, services, and community impact.Develop clear data-management protocols, including naming conventions, storage locations, and access guidelines.Create written guides and templates that enable staff to consistently collect, analyze, and report data Objective of the Assignment Community Engagement SystemsCapacity Outcome: Stronger, repeatable community engagement practices that can be maintained by staff after the VISTA term concludes.
