Chemist
We are seeking a Chemist to support daily operations in a US Onshore Regional Laboratory. This position plays a vital role in executing analytical laboratory activities that ensure chemical program integrity, support operational recommendations, and contribute to product quality and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Perform laboratory testing: Routine and non‑routine analyses following approved methods and quality standards.
- Document results: Record analytical work, observations, and test data in lab systems.
- Troubleshoot issues: Resolve analytical, instrumentation, and sample‑related problems.
- Maintain equipment: Keep instruments and work areas safe and operational.
- Support QA/QC: Participate in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure safety: Conduct risk assessments, wear PPE, and follow HSE standards.
What We Need
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
- Experience: 0–2 years in industrial, analytical, research, or quality labs.
- Core skills: Analytical thinking, documentation, safety awareness, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication.
- Preferred background: Hands‑on instrumentation, oilfield chemistry, or industrial lab experience.
Work Environment
- Laboratory‑based role with strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.
- Collaborative team focused on innovation, technical excellence, and operational efficiency.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (8–5 or 7–4 with 1‑hour lunch).
