Marketing Communications Intern

Marketing & Communications Summer Intern, 16-24 hours/week through early August

The Center is seeking to hire a paid Marketing Communications Intern for June through August 2026. This person will assist with the organization's social media program, content development of digital and print assets, and storytelling, with other duties as assigned.

This person must be a self-starter, operate well in a fast-paced environment and uphold the highest standard of professionalism.

Major Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

  • College senior or graduate student in marketing, communications, PR or related field
  • Excellent writing, spelling and proofreading skills in English, knowledge of Spanish is a plus
  • High comfort level with writing, posting and engaging on various social media platforms
  • High level of attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Design, photography and video shooting/editing skills are a plus 
  • Great attention to details to meet brand guidelines, marketing standards, and organizational voice
  • Personal qualities of integrity and commitment to Center's mission 
  • Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
  • Interest in education, children and/or nonprofit work helpful
