Marketing Communications Intern

Position Overview:

MasterPeace Solutions is seeking a motivated and creative Summer Marketing & Communications Intern to support our corporate branding, communications, and outreach efforts. This internship offers hands-on experience working with both corporate and technical leadership to develop marketing content, strengthen our external brand presence, and create engaging communications across multiple platforms.

The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and developing our annual social media content calendar, including posts highlighting holidays, company events, employee achievements, community engagement activities, and other corporate initiatives throughout the upcoming year.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a year-long social media content calendar featuring holidays, awareness events, company milestones, recruiting initiatives, and corporate announcements. 
• Create graphics, visual content, and marketing materials for social media, web, and internal communications. 
• Assist with website updates, content development, and basic web design activities. 
• Edit, enhance, and repurpose photographs from company events and activities for marketing and branding purposes. 
• Gather requirements and content from corporate leaders, technical staff, and subject matter experts to develop compelling communications. 
• Draft social media posts, announcements, and other marketing content. 
• Support employer branding and recruiting marketing initiatives. 
• Help identify opportunities to strengthen MasterPeace Solutions' external brand and online presence. 

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Graphic Design, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Experience creating graphics and visual content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms. 
• Experience with website design, content management systems, or web development. 
• Familiarity with social media platforms, branding, digital marketing, content strategy and content development. 
• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with customers, stakeholders, or project teams. 
• Interest in technology, engineering, or government contracting environments. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
