About the Role

We're looking for a curious, driven undergraduate student to join our Corporate Strategy team in New York City for an internship that's anything but ordinary. You'll work directly alongside our Chief Strategy Officer and the broader Strategy team, helping shape initiatives that drive growth, and help make Newmark more efficient.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer and Strategy team on research and projects tied to transformation, operational excellence and global growth
• Help build out frameworks, presentations, and business cases that support key strategic decisions
• Dig into market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends and opportunities in commercial real estate
• Work cross-functionally with teams like Technology, Finance, and Operations to pull together insights and recommendations
• Support the development of materials for executive presentations and leadership meetings
• Help identify ways to streamline and automate internal processes, particularly by leveraging AI and improve how teams work together

What We're Looking For

• A rising sophomore or junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Computer Science, or a related field
• Someone excited by a range of difficult business problems and eager to solve them
• Someone eager to learn new things across different domains and exercise knowledge in a fast-paced environment
• Someone who naturally reaches for AI tools to accelerate research, sharpen analysis and find smarter ways to solve problems
• Experience with Claude, ChatGPT,      or Gemini to conduct research, build projects or automate workflows is a nice to have
• Interest in technical problems and some experience with coding languages (Python, SQL) is a nice to have
• Someone who can take complex information and turn it into clear, compelling takeaways
• Strong communication skills — you're comfortable putting together a polished deck and presenting your ideas
• Solid Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); bonus points if you've worked with data visualization tools
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
• A real interest in strategy, operations, or commercial real estate
