Athletic Communications Graduate Wage Worker

Date of Appointment: 8/3/26 – 5/7/26

Pay: $15/hour, 20 hours per week ($4,500 per semester)

The Clarion athletic department is seeking a graduate wage worker in the Athletic Communications office for the 2026-27 academic year, with the opportunity to continue into the 2027-28 academic year.

The graduate wage worker helps manage athletic communications and game day operations for Clarion’s 16 athletic programs. They will serve as the primary point of contact for various assigned sports, assist with digital media and broadcasts, capture official statistics, create game recaps and stories as assigned, and create content for the ClarionGoldenEagles.com website as well as social media.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required, as is acceptance into graduate program at Pennsylvania Western University
  • Selected candidate must maintain at least part-time enrollment in graduate program at PennWest, enrolling in at least three credits per semester
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
