Data Analyst Co Op

Reports to: VP/GM

American Fan is seeking a forward-thinking and innovative Data Analytics Co-Op to revolutionize our business processes through the power of AI. In this role, you will explore all aspects of our business, identifying opportunities to implement AI-driven solutions, insights, and tools that optimize workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive meaningful innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage advanced AI techniques and tools to analyze large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
  • Research, design, and implement AI models, agents, and analytics solutions to address complex business challenges and unlock new opportunities.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain sophisticated dashboards and dynamic visualizations that provide actionable insights, powered by AI-driven data analytics.
  • Explore and evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks to identify areas for business improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business pain points and opportunities where AI can drive measurable impact.
  • Perform exploratory, statistical, and AI-powered data analysis to uncover deeper insights and inform data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Present findings, AI-driven insights, and actionable recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating the value of AI applications.
  • Assist in the documentation, training, and organization-wide adoption of AI and analytics tools, fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, sharing progress, challenges, and creative ideas for leveraging AI to transform the business.
  • Champion the company’s core FMD values of Velocity, Integrity, and Teamwork while driving AI initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong emphasis on AI and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for deploying AI solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for exploring AI applications in business.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex AI and data insights to non-technical stakeholders, fostering understanding and buy-in.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, driven by curiosity and a passion for innovation.
