Cell Culture Technician Intern
Trailhead Biosystems has an opportunity for a student interested in the industry of science to work with our Mesoderm Team. We are looking for a student intern to assist in a variety of tasks. Interns will gain experience in the following laboratory skills:
- Media preparation
- Cell passaging
- Coating plates
- Taking daily images of cells
- ICC
- Compound reconstitution and aliquoting
- Buffer preparation
- Documentation (inventory)
- Freezer organization
- Cell culture maintenance
Work will begin during the summer with the possibility of continuing to work with the company. The team leads are willing to write letters of recommendation or help with other mentoring and growth opportunities. The Intern will be able to work up to 40 hours a week during the summer and up to 20 hours during the school year. Interns will be compensated for their time.
