Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and scientifically knowledgeable Biological Project Manager to oversee and coordinate biological, biotechnology, or life sciences projects. The candidate will manage project timelines, research activities, cross-functional collaboration, material performance testing, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage biological or life science projects from planning through completion 
  • Coordinate research teams, laboratory staff, and vendors 
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and scientific progress 
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory standards 
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting 
  • Support product development, or research initiatives 
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies 
  • Facilitate communication between scientific, and technical teams 
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance and safety protocols 
  • Perform material performance testing utilizing tensile testing equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s in: 
    • Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Biomedical Sciences 
  • 3–7 years of project management or scientific research experience 
  • Strong understanding of biological research processes and laboratory operations 
  • Experience managing scientific or healthcare-related projects 
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as: GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) 
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as: 
    • Microsoft Project 
    • Jira / Trello / Asana
    • Smartsheet  
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in: 
    • Biotechnology  
    • Pharmaceutical industry 
    • Clinical trials 
    • Research laboratories 
    • Healthcare projects 
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies 
  • Experience with data analysis and scientific reporting 
  • Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIMS)
