Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and scientifically knowledgeable Biological Project Manager to oversee and coordinate biological, biotechnology, or life sciences projects. The candidate will manage project timelines, research activities, cross-functional collaboration, material performance testing, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage biological or life science projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate research teams, laboratory staff, and vendors
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and scientific progress
- Ensure compliance with laboratory standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Support product development, or research initiatives
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication between scientific, and technical teams
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance and safety protocols
- Perform material performance testing utilizing tensile testing equipment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s in:
- Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Biomedical Sciences
- 3–7 years of project management or scientific research experience
- Strong understanding of biological research processes and laboratory operations
- Experience managing scientific or healthcare-related projects
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as: GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as:
- Microsoft Project
- Jira / Trello / Asana
- Smartsheet
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
