AI & IT Program Management Intern

Role Overview: 

Frida is seeking an AI & IT Program Management Intern to join our IT team based in Miami, FL. Reporting to the Director of IT Program & PPM, this internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of program management, business operations, and applied AI within a fast-growing consumer products company. This is not a shadowing role—you will own deliverables, contribute to active initiatives, and collaborate across departments. You’ll gain exposure to how technology enables and scales a business, while building practical skills in execution, problem-solving, and systems thinking. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, organized, and motivated to learn by doing in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.

Core Responsibilities: 

Depending on business needs and your interests, your work may include:

Program & Project Operations

  • Support management of the IT project board, ensuring tasks are tracked, prioritized, and progressing 
  • Maintain visibility into project status through updates and stakeholder coordination 

Process, Reporting & Insights

  • Develop and refine templates, workflows, and documentation to improve team efficiency 
  • Generate project updates, metrics, and reporting for leadership visibility 
  • Track workload, capacity, and adoption across initiatives 

AI & Automation

  • Design and build an AI-driven workflow to improve an internal process 
  • Contribute to the AI Use Case Tracker by organizing and preparing inputs for reporting 

Cross-Functional Support & Ownership

  • Support coordination of IT programs, rollouts, and post-launch activities 
  • Take ownership of a small project from planning through execution with guidance

 

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business, or related field 
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving 
  • Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to take ownership 
  • Comfortable learning new tools and systems with guidance 
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail 
  • A self-starter with an ability to complete tasks both independently and collaboratively as part of a team 

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools
  • Exposure to AI tools or automation platforms
