Overview

We are currently accepting applications for our 2026 Summer Camp staff and interns. Our overnight summer camp is in Northeast Pennsylvania which is located just 2 ½ hours from New York City and Philadelphia.

Qualifications:

Counselors provide Trail's End with the first level of support for campers. The Counselor is responsible for directly supervising and caring for the campers within their cabin group.

The primary function of the Counselor is to care for their campers and ensure a safe, fun, and positive camp experience. Counselors focus on the day-to-day details of camper life, supporting each child's physical and emotional well-being, including any medical, dietary, and social needs.

Working alongside fellow cabin staff, Counselors will collaborate with Cabin Specialists and Activity Specialists to create a supportive and engaging environment. Counselors are expected to bring energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with kids to everything they do.

Applicants must be personable, responsible, and enthusiastic about working in an outdoor camp setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential. Counselors will be trained and supported by the Group Leaders, Head Counselors, and Camp Directors. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Our Program

Trail’s End is an all-around camp that includes a strong sports program. In our sports program we look to challenge campers of all athletic abilities in the most supportive and encouraging environment. Applicants must have a desire to teach and coach campers of all skill levels. Each summer over 200 staff members are chosen and will travel from all over the world to take part in the Trail's End Experience. As a member of our staff, you will be part of the team of people who creates a positive environment for everyone that lives in our community. We have a 50% staff return rate which is a testament to how hard we work to provide you with an experience of a lifetime. Salary

Trail’s End offers a competitive salary that is based on age and experience. Our staff will receive their salary in addition to a travel reimbursement. Room and Board are included.
