Position Overview
nVntori is seeking a Full-Time Dispatcher to support daily truckload operations. This role helps coordinate drivers, monitor active shipments, maintain accurate dispatch information, and support load coverage across OTR, drayage, and specialized freight operations.
The Full-Time Dispatcher will serve as a key communication point between drivers, load boards, brokers, and internal team members. This is a strong opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch drivers and support daily truckload operations across OTR, drayage, and specialized freight.
- Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery using dispatch, tracking, and internal systems.
- Communicate clearly with drivers regarding routing, appointment times, delivery expectations, and schedule updates.
- Assist with load coverage through industry load boards such as DAT, Truckstop, and Uber Freight.
- Maintain accurate load information, shipment status updates, and documentation in dispatch systems.
- Provide timely updates to internal team members, customers, brokers, and carriers as needed.
- Track driver availability and support Hours of Service awareness.
- Identify delays, service issues, or disruptions early and escalate them with clear, solution-oriented communication.
- Support dispatch workflows while helping improve operational efficiency and execution.
Qualifications
- Interest in transportation, logistics, supply chain, dispatch, or operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with drivers, brokers, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong decision-making skills in time-sensitive situations.
- Organized, accountable, and self-motivated.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Motive, DataTruck, DAT, Truckstop, Uber Freight, or similar platforms is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in transportation, dispatch, freight coordination, customer service, or operations is a plus.
Education
Current college students, recent graduates, or candidates with relevant logistics, operations, transportation, or customer service experience are encouraged to apply.
