Trade Show Intern (Chicago)

Stand4 Socks is a B Corp-certified sock brand on a mission to make every pair count. Founded in 2015, we design bold socks that fund donations to people experiencing homelessness — buy a pair, give a pair. We hold the highest B Corp score of any sock brand globally (135.2) and operate across the UK and US through DTC, retail, and a fast-growing B2B/corporate gifting arm.
We're exhibiting at a major trade show in New York this June and are looking for a hands-on intern to work directly alongside our founder on the booth.
What you'll do:
- Help run our B2B distributor and corporate gifting stand
- Pitch the brand to buyers, distributors, and corporate gifting leads
- Capture leads, qualify prospects, and support follow-up outreach
- Assist with stand setup, product displays, and live merchandising
- Gather market insights and competitor intel from the show floor
- Work side-by-side with the founder across sales, marketing, and partnerships
Before the show:
- A short onboarding call or coffee with the founder to get you up to speed on the brand, the pitch, and the goals for the show
You'll get:

We're looking for someone who:
- Is studying business, marketing, communications, entrepreneurship, sustainability, or similar
- Is confident, friendly, and energized by meeting new people
- Has strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset
- Is interested in mission-led brands, B Corps, or social enterprise
- Is based in or near New York City and available for the show date
