Position Summary
The Content Marketing Intern will support brand growth and customer engagement initiatives across digital channels for a convenience retail business. This role provides hands-on experience in content creation, campaign execution, and performance analysis, with a focus on driving store traffic and promoting key products and promotions. The intern will assist in managing social media platforms, analyzing engagement metrics, and aligning digital efforts with in-store initiatives, gaining insight into how data-driven marketing strategies influence customer behavior and revenue in a competitive retail landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media content (promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns) 
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages 
  • Assist in analyzing campaign performance and digital metrics 
  • Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends 
  • Support email marketing and loyalty program communications 
  • Assist in content creation (graphics, short-form video, in-store promotions) 
  • Collaborate with operations teams to align marketing with store initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 
  • Familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) 
  • Strong written and visual communication skills

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or social scheduling tools 
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools
