Sales Representative

Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Achieve sales goals by managing and evaluating current accounts. Follow a structured sales process for new prospects, including product demonstrations and presentations. 

2. Maintain strong working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and to identify additional sales opportunities. 

3. Identify new prospects, schedule appointments, conduct effective qualifying cold calls, and manage the full sales cycle to close business. 

4. Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge, conduct demos, and confidently handle objections. 

5. Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism. 

6. Partner with team members and other departments to support company-wide sales initiatives. 

7. Maintain an active and organized sales pipeline, provide accurate sales forecasts, and track progress toward monthly and quarterly targets. 

8. Travel nationally as required to support sales activities and customer relationships. 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree 

Formal sales training (e.g., Dale Carnegie) 

Sales experience, preferably within a related industry 

Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities 

Proven success building and maintaining strong client relationships

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage; CRM experience preferred (HubSpot strongly preferred)
