Beard Construction Group, LLC (BCG) is an industrial construction firm specializing in all phases of civil construction services. Our disciplines include earthwork, mass excavation, site preparation, concrete foundations, landfill construction, impoundment closures, and other heavy civil construction services.

BCG is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This position reports to the Senior Project Manager and is responsible for overall project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure successful project delivery from pre-construction through closeout.

Position Summary

The Project Manager provides leadership and oversight for assigned construction projects, including estimating, procurement, scheduling, and field coordination. This role works closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from bid through closeout
  • Develop bid packages and assist in the preparation of project proposals
  • Estimate project costs including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracted services
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure full understanding of scope
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and track progress against milestones
  • Provide direction and support to Superintendents and Foremen on active job sites
  • Monitor project performance, costs, and productivity to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Identify and resolve project issues proactively
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including OSHA regulations
  • Support project closeout activities including documentation and final reporting

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
    (Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience managing construction projects (heavy civil preferred)
  • Working knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, and cost control
  • Proficient verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements
