We seek a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized technician to join Dr. Karolina Charaziak lab (https://sites.usc.edu/charaziaklab/) at the Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Charaziak lab studies normal and abnormal hearing in animal and computational models.

This is a full time position although I will consider a temporary part time option with switch to full time in the future. The lab spaces are located in Zilkha Neurogenic Institute and HSC. The primary responsibilities of a technician would be to help manage animal colonies (predominantly live mice), updating lab documentation, attending weekly lab meetings, performing simple experiments on anesthetized animals (including surgery), analyzing data (Matlab), and preparing reports. A prior lab experience with mice is necessary. The compensation will be based on prior experience.
