Job Description: Paralegal, Origination

The Role

Reporting to the General Counsel, Symphony Towers is seeking a driven Legal Intern to support our Legal team with summer projects and goals.  This is a great opportunity for those interested in Real Estate and Contract Law, with exposure to a wide range of legal responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Attorneys and Paralegals with day to day responsibilities.
  • Assist with developing prompts and templates for intern AI tools.
  • Assist with lease and title review for Real Estate transactions.
  • Assist with corporate governance work.
  • Draft legal documents including security agreements, mortgages, and deeds of trust in connection with secured transactions.
  • Other special legal projects will be assigned on as needed basis.

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a BS/BA degree in law, real estate, or a similar relevant major for legal career focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to real‐world considerations in a fast‐paced dynamic project that requires a balance between critical thinking and efficient decision‐making
  • Skilled with prioritization/re‐prioritization of multiple projects and/or deadlines in a fast‐paced work environment
  • Must possess high attention to detail
  • Decision Making ‐ Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedure
  • Problem Solving ‐ Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work‐related problems Relationship Building ‐ Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co‐workers Strong knowledge all Microsoft suite of products
