Veterinary Technician

Position: Veterinary Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: A Couple of Vets, Spring, TX

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
  • Perform diagnostic tests (bloodwork, radiology, urinalysis, fecal testing, etc.)
  • Monitor patients under anesthesia and during recovery
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples
  • Educate clients on patient care, medication administration, and wellness
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a clean, organized work environment
  • Provide compassionate handling of animals in all situations

Qualifications

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) preferred; on-the-job-trained candidates considered
  • Experience in a clinical setting a plus
  • Strong communication and client-service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with animal restraint and handling
  • Compassion for animals and their owners
