Job Title: People & Culture (HR) Intern 
Department: People & Culture (P&C) 
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid) 
Duration: Summer Internship, 10–12 weeks or ongoing depending on availability

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Intern to support key People & Culture initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience across People & Culture operations, documentation, compliance, and systems, with exposure to foundational HR processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Job Descriptions & Scorecards

Assist in creating, updating, and standardizing job descriptions and role scorecards

Ensure alignment with organizational structure and hiring needs

Policy & Handbook Updates

Support the review and revision of company policies and employee handbook content

Help maintain consistency, clarity, and compliance with applicable regulations

P&C SOP Development

Draft and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HR processes

Collaborate with team members to document workflows and best practices

SharePoint Site Refresh

Support the redesign and organization of the P&C SharePoint site

Improve accessibility and usability of HR resources and documentation

Administrative & Operational Support

Process employment verification requests

Provide general HR support as needed (“other duties as assigned”)

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with SharePoint is a plus

Interest in HR operations, compliance, and process improvement
