Corporate Communications Coordinator

This position will spearhead a broad range of corporate communications activities, including:

  • Maximizing Carillon ERP’s name recognition using Cari
  • Helping staff Carillon’s exhibitor booth at trade shows
  • Creating and posting corporate social media content
  • Preparing and distributing corporate communications and newsletters
  • Setting up seminars in cities throughout the United States and the Caribbean
  • Managing relationships with professional organizations such as WSWA, PPAI, IMA, AICPA, and local chapters of these organizations
  • Working with management to improve SEO
  • Working with management to improve existing website pages and create new website pages
  • Supporting corporate communications for both Carillon and Pettit Consulting
  • Writing and editing website copy, blog posts, press releases, customer stories, and product-focused marketing content
  • Maintaining a marketing/content calendar for social media, newsletters, trade shows, seminars, and website updates
  • Coordinating with Carillon ERP subject-matter experts to turn product knowledge into clear marketing messages
  • Tracking basic marketing results, including website traffic, search performance, email engagement, social activity, and trade-show follow-up
  • Helping prepare PowerPoint decks, one-page handouts, brochures, booth materials, and seminar materials
  • Researching industry groups, conferences, publications, and potential partnership opportunities

In a perfect world, this person would:

  • Have strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organization skills
  • Have the ability to learn complex business software and explain it clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Be comfortable interviewing internal subject-matter experts and turning notes into usable marketing content
  • Have experience with Canva, PowerPoint, WordPress, or basic website editing
  • Have experience with email marketing tools, CRM systems, or marketing automation
  • Have an interest in accounting, ERP software, distribution, manufacturing, construction, or business operations
  • Be familiar with HeyGen, which is used for Cari
  • Be familiar with posting corporate social media content
  • Be excellent in oral communication for trade shows as well as written communication
  • Understand basic SEO concepts
  • Have worked with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Be able to draft HTML emails
  • Have a little bit of salesperson inside them

This position is well suited for a recent graduate or early-career candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Some travel will be required, including the possibility of international travel.
