The Associate Director of Hospitality serves as a member of the leadership team and works directly alongside experienced operators and senior leaders to develop real-world business, operations, and people leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a team of leaders and team members toward shared operational and service goals
  • Coach and mentor leaders to grow personally and professionally
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, encouragement, and excellence
  • Oversee team morale, engagement, and recognition initiatives
  • Conduct and organize team meetings, trainings, and events

Operations & Business Management

  • Help plan, organize, and execute business goals and initiatives
  • Assist with scheduling, human resources, and supply chain management
  • Ensure team members maintain Chick-fil-A standards for speed of service and hospitality
  • Monitor facility cleanliness and operational execution throughout each shift
  • Maintain proper cash handling, security, and policy compliance procedures
  • Solve operational challenges quickly and effectively

Guest Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives exceptional hospitality and care
  • Address guest concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and communication with guests, team members, and leadership

Communication & Accountability

  • Communicate clearly with team members, leadership, and Chick-fil-A support staff
  • Provide direction, feedback, and accountability to team members
  • Communicate performance concerns and policy violations appropriately
  • Strictly adhere to all Chick-fil-A and restaurant policies and procedures

Schedule Expectations

  • 8-hour and 10-hour shifts
