Marketing Internship

Crispy Green Inc., a leader in the healthy fruit snacks sector with a 20-year record of success, is currently seeking a Marketing Intern to join our high-energy, diverse, and collegial team based in Fairfield, NJ. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key aspects of the marketing mix, including social media, brand campaigns, PR, digital marketing, events, and consumer engagement.

 

Overall Responsibilities: Internship position responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing initiatives, reporting to the Marketing Assistant. The role is accountable for all assigned duties.

Customer Relations: 

  • Support customer service management by responding to basic customer inquiries using approved guidelines and escalating as appropriate
  • Assist in coordinating product sampling and donation requests, including tracking shipments and maintaining fulfillment logs
  • Assist with blog content as needed
  • Represent the company at In-person sampling events / sponsorship opportunities

Social Media Marketing:

  • Assist with daily social media management, including monitoring comments/DMs; flag priority responses as needed
  • Keep track and inform the team of upcoming expiration dates of influencer content
  • Assist with the reposting of content throughout social channels (TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn)

Data Tracking / Analysis: 

  • Support ongoing reporting by pulling monthly metrics across social, email, and campaign performance 

Marketing Team Planning Sessions & Quarterly Business Reviews:

  • Assists in campaign planning, quarterly business reviews, and weekly team meetings to support team objectives.

Project-Based Activities:

  • Plan, execute, and report on a content series on our social media (e.g., “Snack Hacks,” “Mom Moments,” “Behind the Brand,”)
  • Social Media Trend monitoring- research emerging social trends and execute content for the brand on a weekly basis

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Good computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Canva
  • Working knowledge of Social Media - Meta Business Suite / Ad Manager 
  • Experience with content creation preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, and also as a team member.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills 
  • Effective problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to plan the work, prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting 

 

We are looking for an intern to work onsite at our Fairfield location for 20 hours a week. Hours will be between M-F 8:30am-4:30pm (flexible hours available). Pay is $16-$18 / hour commensurate with experience.
