About the role
Clarify Capital is scaling fast. We doubled the size of our NYC office in 2026 and are continuing to grow.
At Clarify Capital, a business funding marketplace in Midtown Manhattan, we help business owners access the capital they need to grow, with real human guidance every step of the way.
As a Junior SDR, you’ll be on the front lines of our sales organization, focused primarily on outbound calling and appointment setting. This is an entry-point role designed to build strong sales fundamentals from the ground up while you work directly under a sales manager for your first 6-9 months.
You’ll spend most of your day calling business owners, qualifying interest, and scheduling appointments for senior reps, with a clear path to promotion once you’ve hit defined activity and deal benchmarks. When you reach those targets, you’ll be promoted to run your own desk as a full Account Representative with expanded earning potential.
About you
You’re not looking for a passive role: you want to be on the phone, in the mix, and measured on performance. You’re comfortable with high-volume outreach, can handle “no” without feeling deflated, and care about getting a little better every day.
You don’t need prior finance or lending experience, but you do need to be coachable, competitive, and willing to follow a proven process while you learn the business.

What you’ll own
- Making outbound calls every day to business owners and decision-makers using established lists and scripts
- Qualifying prospects, asking good questions, and identifying which opportunities are worth moving forward
- Scheduling and confirming appointments for senior reps and ensuring smooth handoffs with context
- Keeping detailed, accurate notes and activity logs in the CRM so your pipeline and follow-ups stay tight
- Learning how to talk about our several different funding products, handle objections, and navigate the sales process through ongoing coaching and feedback
- Consistently hitting daily and weekly activity targets across calls, conversations, and appointments set
Training and growth path
- 6-9 month structured ramp under a sales manager, focused on outbound calling, qualification, and appointment setting
- Clear, transparent benchmarks around activity, appointments, and deals needed for promotion
- Promotion to Account Representative once targets are hit, with the ability to run your own desk and close deals end to end
- Long-term opportunity to build a portfolio of repeat clients and scale your earnings

Compensation and earning potential
- Base salary: $45k
- Commission + bonuses (uncapped) tied to appointments set, pipeline generated, and deals contributed to
- First-year OTE: $65k-$80k, assuming consistent activity and hitting clear ramp goals
- Significant earning upside once promoted to Account Representative and running your own book of business

Schedule
- Monday-Thursday: 9 AM-6 PM.
