Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative (Oakland, IN)

Purpose:

  • Responsible for delivering best possible service in relation to billing inquiries,customer inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints

Key Activities:

  • Customer Interaction: Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, or social media, providing high-quality customer service.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify, evaluate, and solve customer problems, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Order Processing: Process orders, forms, and applications accurately.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update customer information in the customer service database.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and relay customer feedback to improve products and services.
  • Escalation Handling: Escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Training Participation: Engage in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in customer service software and tools
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer inquiries and issues

Previous Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Customer Service or related roles
  • We are open to recent graduates with limited experience, as long as they have excellent Microsoft Office skills and a strong customer service orientation.

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

This is an on-site position located at our plant in Oakland City, Indiana (11698 E 200 S, Oakland City, IN 47660).
