Front Desk Receptionist
We have a company in the Yard that’s been delivering “A Better Music Store Experience” since 1999. They specialize in Hi‑Fi and consumer audio, professional audio equipment, vinyl records, and music merchandise, and are well‑known among music lovers and audio enthusiasts.
They’re currently looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact in a fast‑paced, creative environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and comfortable multitasking while representing the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, clients, talent, vendors, and production partners in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly and accurately
- Manage front desk operations, including visitor sign-in, badges, and meeting notifications
- Coordinate conference rooms and assist with meeting logistics
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and production deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
- Provide basic administrative support (data entry, filing, scanning, copying)
- Assist internal teams with ad hoc requests related to office and production needs
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, customer-service mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and general office equipment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a busy environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a film, media, entertainment, or creative office environment
- Familiarity with managing visitors in a professional studio or production setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable attitude with a team-first approach

- On-site presence required during business hours
