The is a growing national movement dedicated to strengthening Jewish identity, advocacy, education, and community engagement across the United States. We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and mission-driven professional to lead our digital communications, member engagement, and event coordination efforts during a period of rapid national expansion.
Position Summary
The Marketing Communications & Engagement Manager will oversee the organization’s social media presence, digital communications, content creation, member engagement, and event coordination. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands modern digital trends, and can rapidly create compelling content that grows audiences, drives engagement, and strengthens organizational visibility.
The ideal candidate is deeply experienced in Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and TikTok, has strong writing and design skills, and can seamlessly balance strategy, creativity, operations, and execution. This individual must also be able to quickly learn, understand, and consistently replicate the organization’s brand voice, messaging style, and public identity across all communications and platforms.
This individual will also support organizational administration through CRM management and other operational tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Social Media Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
- Create, curate, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with organizational messaging and campaigns.
- Rapidly produce timely graphics, videos, reels, captions, and promotional materials for breaking news, advocacy campaigns, events, and organizational updates.
- Monitor social media trends and emerging digital strategies to maximize audience growth and engagement.
- Manage social media calendars and ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide recommendations for growth and optimization.
- Engage with followers, members, supporters, and community partners online in a professional and mission-driven manner.
Content Creation & Marketing
- Design digital marketing campaigns to increase visibility, membership growth, donor engagement, and event participation.
- Produce high-quality visual and written content for social media, newsletters, websites, and promotional materials.
- Assist in developing messaging for fundraising, advocacy, and organizational awareness campaigns.
- Collaborate with leadership to create strategic communications and public-facing materials.
Email Marketing & Newsletter Management
- Lead the writing, design, and distribution of organizational newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
- Manage audience segmentation, email lists, and engagement tracking.
- Develop compelling calls-to-action and marketing copy that increase open rates and audience engagement.
- Ensure all email communications align with organizational branding and mission.
Event Planning & Community Engagement
- Help planning, coordinating, and promoting organizational events, meetings, fundraisers, and community gatherings.
- Work collaboratively with the full team to execute successful in-person and virtual events.
- Assist with outreach and relationship-building efforts to grow membership and community involvement.
- Coordinate event logistics, marketing, vendor communication, registration, and attendee engagement.
CRM & Administrative Support
- Maintain and manage the organization’s CRM system and membership databases.
- Track member engagement, communication, and organizational outreach efforts.
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed to support organizational growth.
- Help improve internal systems, organization, and communication workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong professional experience managing social media platforms, especially Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging short-form content, graphics, and digital campaigns.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to and maintain an established organizational brand voice across multiple communication channels.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and newsletter design.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience planning and coordinating events.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and database management.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of branding, audience engagement, and digital growth strategies.
- Passion for community engagement, advocacy, and mission-driven work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in nonprofit, advocacy, political, faith-based, or community organizations.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar platforms.
- Photography, videography, or video editing experience.
- Experience growing digital audiences and online communities.
- Knowledge of Jewish communal life, advocacy, or nonprofit engagement is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range of $45,000–$50,000 annually, depending on experience
